I planned to be very good on my long weekend trip to North Myrtle Beach, but the gods were against me. I got to my resort and my refrigerator was not working. Not to bad, I still had all my Jenny food in the cooler. I went to heat up my dinner and the microwave did not work, changed the outlet and still no go. So I called the front desk and they said go out and eat and they would have it fixed. I went out to Hardrock and had an appetizer and drink and then went to the Le Grande Cirque. Got back to my resort still did not work.

Well, I go weigh in tomorrow and I think I gained two or three pounds. So I’m have to re-energize my efforts towards weight loss. So in an attempt I’m posting my menu for the week:

I have ballet on Monday for 45 minutes and tap on Tuesday for 1 hour. Now I need to come up with something for the rest of the week that will not over-exert me or kill my joints.

I recently started the Jenny Craig program. It’s a 1200 calorie diet, but I really don’t count calories, so I just follow that personalized (since I’m a picky eater) meal and snack plan and any free foods that I can find like Jello.

1 hard-boiled egg
1 large cafe au lait
1/2 cup mixed fruit
1 orange/ginger "mini loaf" (muffin. or cake, depending on who reads the ingredients list)
3/4 litres water
2 cups organic popcorn
1 mug hot mint tea
1 tri-tip burrito with rice and beans
1 hand-full dried apricots
1 cheddar sandwich on harvest wheat bread

1 bowl of: 8oz strawberry slices; 1 banana (sliced); 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 8-inch meatball sub with cheese
8 oz. potato salad
1 litre water
2 fudgy peanut buttery things
1 cup fried rice/chow mein, 1/4 pint peppered beef, 2 egg rolls
3 pops >_<
1 glass water

Two days ago:
3/4 cup oatmeal w/ 1 Tbls. brown sugar, handful cranberries, 1/4 cup cream
1 mug cafe au lait
8 oz. orange juice
1 bowl Mexican black bean soup
10 filo spinach triangles
1.5 cups brown rice
1 cup chicken curry w/ mixed veggies
3 glasses water
2 glasses red wine

numerous mini choco eggs
2 handfuls peanut M&Ms
1 mug jasmine green tea
numerous mini choco eggs
several mugs coffee, black
1 glass water
more mini choco eggs and M&Ms
2 mini York peppermint patties
1 bowl fettuccini alfredo
1 bowl salad with almonds, sunflower seeds, cranberries, and olive oil & vinegar
(tremendous guilt and self-control between late lunch and supper even though the mini choco eggs are staring at me and calling to me. Sirens in foil!)
1 green apple
1 glass water
1 bowl mexican black bean soup
1 slice choco, caramel, and walnut pie that needs to be eaten before it goes bad (but it's already ooooh so baaaaad ;o))
